Leading Cyber Security Company Grateful for Ohio’s Warm Welcome

Lunarline CEO: “We’re eager to ramp up staffing for our new office in Kettering, Ohio.”

Kettering OH, June 30 – Lunarline, Inc today announced that its application to receive an Ohio Job Creation Tax Credit (JCTC) has been approved. The JCTC program will help this leading cyber security company fuel its aggressive expansion in the Dayton area.

In a statement released by Lunarline’s Corporate Headquarters, CEO Waylon Krush noted that Lunarline’s expansion to Ohio is a critical component of the company’s strategic plan. “There are countless business opportunities in Ohio and the entire Midwest,” Mr. Krush said. “With fantastic universities, a smart, hardworking workforce and local governments committed to growth, the Dayton-area is the ideal base for our Midwest operations.”

The JCTC program provides a refundable tax credit to support growing companies as they add jobs.  This program is helping to make possible Lunarline’s establishment of an advanced, secure cyber operations facility in the Dayton area. The company’s goal is to consolidate their 24x7x365 global monitoring operations, cyber forensics unit, research and development lab and their advanced cyber training team under one roof, and operate them from their new facility in Kettering, Ohio.

“Cyber security is a growing field and the Dayton Region is rich with this technical expertise,” said Julie Sullivan, Director of Economic Development Programs for the Dayton Development Coalition. “Winning the Lunarline project for the Dayton Region was a partnership effort of the Dayton Development Coalition, JobsOhio, the City of Kettering and Miami Valley Research Park. Lunarline will be a great addition to the community and a collaborative partner in advancing our regional cyber capabilities.”

“We are grateful for the support the Dayton area and JobsOhio has shown us as we work to establish a significant presence in the region,” says Rebecca Onuskanich, the Head of Lunarline’s Midwestern Operations. “Programs like the JCTC are vital to our ability to hit the ground running and hire quickly. We’re excited to start staffing our new office and achieving our aggressive goals for regional growth.”

About Spence Witten

Spence has somehow survived ten years at start-ups and small businesses without suffering a (major) nervous breakdown. As Lunarline's Director of Federal Sales, Spence actually loves working on proposals. If there were any doubt, this is proof that he is in fact certifiably insane. While his title says "Sales" Lunarline doesn't let him off that easy. We make him do real work, too. Luckily he's a recognized subject matter expert in security policy and loves helping clients navigate their way around tricky security compliance standards. He's also been known to lead a software development initiative or two, though that pretty much always ends poorly for everyone involved. He can be reached at spence.witten@lunarline.com.
