Lunarline Opens New Facility in Ohio to Meet Increasing Cyber Security Demand

Without a doubt, cyber security is a challenging — sometimes even panic-inducing — undertaking for businesses. With a constant stream of news articles announcing catastrophic breaches and warnings about the specter of advanced persistent threats, it’s increasingly apparent that fully realized security solutions and all-inclusive privacy training programs are must-haves for companies.

Today, most firms depend on sensitive data, stored and shared over corporate networks, to run their businesses. This makes securing data from sophisticated cyber criminals more than a consideration for IT departments; it’s a critical risk management effort, and a top corporate priority directly tied to a company’s bottom line.

As companies give cyber defense initiatives a place of prominence in their business planning, many look toward specialist consulting firms for guidance in enhancing their security positions and increasing employees’ awareness. Whether the goal is to leverage a complete security operations center (SOC) or introduce a plan for corporate governance, these organizations are recognizing the need for expert partners that can help them get it right.

To meet this rising demand for advanced security products and services, Lunarline is proud to announce the opening of a new facility in Kettering, Ohio. This 3,000-square-foot space, located in the Miami Valley Research Park, will support and enhance Lunarline’s 24/7 security operations capability and provide round-the-clock support to Lunarline headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.

Additionally, the new location will expand the reach of the Lunarline School of Cyber Security, providing more options for in-depth, in-person training courses ranging from basic privacy awareness to advanced penetration testing and compliance planning.

Lunarline is excited to join the vibrant and rapidly growing business community of the Dayton area, and it looks forward to contributing to making the area a major hub for the cyber security industry.

About Spence Witten

Spence has somehow survived ten years at start-ups and small businesses without suffering a (major) nervous breakdown. As Lunarline's Director of Federal Sales, Spence actually loves working on proposals. If there were any doubt, this is proof that he is in fact certifiably insane. While his title says "Sales" Lunarline doesn't let him off that easy. We make him do real work, too. Luckily he's a recognized subject matter expert in security policy and loves helping clients navigate their way around tricky security compliance standards. He's also been known to lead a software development initiative or two, though that pretty much always ends poorly for everyone involved. He can be reached at spence.witten@lunarline.com.
