Lunarline Teams with Electrosoft for VA Contract Win

ARLINGTON, VA –June 19, 2013 -Lunarline, Inc. partnered with Electrosoft Services, Inc. to win the award for the design, implementation and maintenance of the Enterprise Physical Access Control System (ePACS) capability for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).  Lunarline will develop and deliver training to VA personnel, contractors, and affiliates at VA facilities to ensure the proper use and operation of this new enterprise wide capability.

The ePACS capability is an innovative technical approach to allow the VA to interconnect and centrally manage (e.g., provision, de-provision IDs for access to buildings, check status of ID badges, etc.) the multitude of standalone Physical Access Control System (PACS) implementations at the various VA facilities within the National Capital Region.  Amongst other benefits such as improved security and lowered cost of management, this project will facilitate the VA’s progress in meeting the requirement to upgrade existing PACS to use PIV credentials in accordance with OMB M-11-11.

“This is an exciting opportunity for Lunarline,” said CEO, Waylon Krush. “As a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, we are pleased to be able to use our expertise to help our Veterans with their security needs.”
